These kitchen cabinets feature river recovered virgin growth, vertical grain cypress from Florida. These trees were harvested in the early 1900\'s and were thousands of years old at the time. Many of these logs sank during transport on the rivers and are only now being salvaged from those river bottoms. The wall is fossil brown stone and the countertops are concrete.

This birdseye maple display case features glass doors, shelves, and side panels. The three xenon lights, reflecting off the mirrored bottom, fill the case and the surrounding room with a warm glow . The area below features two pullout drawers behind the wooden doors. 46" wide x 72" high x 16" deep.

This end table with glass shelf was commissioned to accompany the graceful Art Espenet Carpenter chair nearby. The table is made from Tan Oak, a species of oak common to the redwood forests of Northern California. The glass shelf will hold a collection of sheep figurines and dolls. The first can be seen in the lower left corner heading for the new pasture. 24 in. long x 14 in. deep x 16 in. high.
